Is the NHS the envy of the world?

I don't think it is, and the treating of it as a holy relic is surely counterproductive?

The bit missing is "used to be".
Before we work on Artificial Intelligence shouldn't we address the problem of natural stupidity.

And not for some time. So for a Labour Minister to tout the idiocy is more about religion than realism

Not the envy of the world but 'broken', and even if it is going to cause problems with messaging, Streeting,  in the words of Tom Petty 'I won't back down', because as far as I can follow the analogy in the speech, he"s the 'doctor' but actual doctors know nothing.

It seems to me that as a member of the Labour govt, even when he disagrees completely with Milliband here, there is a worry that there is an interest in portraying the NHS as 'broken' for political reasons that are not in the interests of the NHS.
