The European beaver, the sea eagle, the red kite - all have been re-introduced to the British countryside.
There are groups which want to re-introduce the lynx as well

Any thoughts?
What flora and fauna, if any, would you like to see re-introduced to these isles?

Ah....you've been to Sauchiehall street, then?
(I believe there ARE some bods who want to splice mammoth DNA into elephant embryos.
I think it's a bad idea....the environment has warmed up too much for this experiment.)

Certainly parts of Scotland could support a lynx population.
I doubt whether a viable wolf population is a possibility, though - but something needs to be done to control the red and sika deer population, bth of which are causing severe damage to efforts at reforestation.
