Not sure? Who do you think is running the world.
I can be pretty certain that the City of London Corporation isn't running the world. Unless you think that Boris Johnson is heading up a huge international network, in tandem with the varied citizens of the City of London.
It is the banks and corporations who are pulling the strings of the puppets of the world's powers and governments.
Now, that I would agree with to some degree - but I'd also include the unions - think of the French Government's attitude to them - and even the world of science and technology, to a degree.
Though it is called the City of London Corporation it is in fact a global endeavour for the world's elites, who also have centres like Wall Street to their name.
The City of London Corporation certainly exists, but it is "officially and legally the Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London, aka the municipal governing body of the City of London, the historic centre of London and the location of much of the UK's financial sector". Remember that
a lot of the world's banking and corporate power is in places other than London. In fact, London's role and influence in that area of life is diminishing by the year. Now, if you had said that the CoLC was 'pulling the strings of the puppets of the
UK's powers and governments', I would probably agree with you.
... but don't be fooled by the name it is a global, transnational corporation that is planning to control us all through TTIP.
If anywhere, TTIP is an American idea - and, as I said before, it is the Americans who seem determined to stop the details of TTIP being publicised. If you look around, you will find that there are a number of TTIP-type arrangements around the world. If even more carefully and you will notice that the common denominator within these arrangments is the US.
No the EU wants it secret as well, as I have mentioned perhaps here and else where on this forum.
I would agree that the EU want it secret as well, but only because that is what the US have said has to be the case. After all, the EU are the subsidary element in this element of TTIP. Europe will be allowed little or no inroads into US social and economic processes and establishments. The traffic will be pretty well all the other way.
