OK, it's not as if they're creating long-term housing for the homeless, but I was glad to see the BBC running this story.
Are your, or your friends'/relatives', garages, lofts or sheds full of unused DIY gear, sewing/knitting machines or fabric and haberdashery stuff?

Lists of what is needed and a search engine to find your nearest collector (scroll to bottom for latter) are here:  http://www.twam.uk/donate-tools

I nearly linked to the same story. Gary Neville is an exceptionally good bloke, as well as bring the finest pundit on TV - I learn so much about foitball from watching him, and reading his journalism.

I believe a group of ex Man U players (including Neville, Giggs and I think Scholes) have also bought a small club - think it is Salford - with a view to developing a community club and nurturing grass roots talent.
