We usually have some butter around, but use it purely for cooking. For general spreading on bread, toast etc, alway non butter spread (not sure if margarine is the right term).

The key issue is ability to spread straight from the fridge rather than health.

 I put the link up because I saw  it, I hadn't ignored anything earlier. I do see Scottish headlines as my local area  on my phone. Just as I would if I was based in London, and see London headlines.  Is that odd?

In terms of 'p' words, I can continue to remove the 'p' from you if you want or you might want to stop this slight obsession? There was a terrier that my friend had that loved shagging my leg in a 'pervy' fashion, I am reminded of that.

Yes - I don't get specifically London or South East headlines sent to my phone - I get the main BBC news-items. If I want to narrow down to London or the South East, I can of course, but is isn't by default and it is just as easy to narrow down to the Scottish Headlines - actually easier, as 'Scotland' is a secondary heading (requiring just one click), while London & South East is a further layer down, below 'England', requiring actually 3 clicks to get to rather than one.

Of course you can set up your phone to primarily receive headlines from a specific area rather than the main BBC news (I chose not to), but hard to then argue against parochialism.

I need my butter for my TOAST and I need my CREAM for my coffee. Glad I live in England at present.
Could send butter to  Scotland as presents at Christmas.   
I love Edinburgh determined to get there next year.

Last time I was their  met up with one of my nephews and his girlfriend (now wife) and we went to see Bon Jovi in concert. Such good memories.  I have to say Edinburgh one of my favourite places ever.  But I have to say are they just being greedy creaming the money off the Sales of Butter.

It's only bad if you have a lot of it, a couple of slices of toast twice a week isn't gonna hurt.

Butter can be frozen though, I think. So stock pile and freeze!

I use that NZ A =****r butter. And I reckon, having had that endarterectomy three years ago, the arteries to my brain will last long enough to mean that the plaque buildup will not be the principal cause of my demise!!! But I use very little actually.
