Gay marriage = broadband rollout

I think the decision is the correct one but the analogy shows a lack of thought. This is something NI needs to do but imposing it would be incorrect.

What does it mean to "impose gay marriage on NI"? It's not an imposition, it is lifting an imposition.

In terms of the current settlement of powers it would be imposed. There is a good argument to do so given that sexuality is a protected characteristic but politically it reads as the wrong move to me.
