Just read it: words fail me. The bit about UK Home Office official dismissing fears that the daughter might be subject to FGM is returned is shocking.

I did not read that the official was "dismissing fears", my interpretation was that he was saying "So what?"
Anyway, for expressing an opinion that puts him at odds with this country's official policy on FGM he should be dismissed.
