The entire BBC collection - nine seasons, 52 individual episodes and a feature-length programme - of Rupert Davies as
Maigret. Re-mastered in 1080 high definition. The boxed set comprises 11 discs for £85.
I recall reading, decades ago, that the BBC had wiped the original tapes in some housekeeping excercise. I am glad to know that this is not true.
Another recollection, of when I lived in Windsor, seeing a familiar Citroen coming down Peascod Street. Behind the wheel was Rupert Davies.
