'The Penis as a Social Construct'

Brilliant scary letter of resignation from Peter Boghossian outlining the problems of being a liberal thinker in US academia, and increasingly here

A depressing read.

It does make you question just how we got to this point. I don't know the answer to that and whenever I try to work it out I come up against a brick wall that says surely Educators can see what is happening and remedy it.

The fact that many are complicit, and other are cowed into submission, is very worrying.
Before we work on Artificial Intelligence shouldn't we address the problem of natural stupidity.

TBF, we only have Prof. Boghossian's side of the story, and it seems his spoof-paper trick didn't come to anything: it was rejected by an academic journal, and only accepted by another with a poor reputation. I'd like to hear the university's reply.
I once tried using "chicken" as a password, but was told it must contain a capital so I tried "chickenkiev"
On another occasion, I tried "beefstew", but was told it wasn't stroganoff.

In isolation your points are valid, but the issue with peer reviewed nonsense is not new
