Ex-Jeremy Corbyn staff court case denting Labour election funds
« on: October 06, 2023, 08:42:24 AM »
'But Labour has asked the court to delay this until at least February 2025 - in other words, until after the last possible date for a general election.'

I suppose the sheer obviousness of this as an attempt to avoid it happening before the GE might be seen as some mitigation for trying to manipulate the process but it doesn't give me any confidence in Labour wanting to raise standards in politics.

I would have a lot of sympathy if Labour was the defendant in this case. However, they were the ones who brought it. They could make it go away any time.
