I am so glad that our Grandson, who has been travelling around Europe with his friends, is flying home and not taking a train through the Channel Tunnel.

My understanding (such as it is although I am actually in France at the moment) is that it is the digital information and control systems that thave been attacked rather than the physical rail network.
