Chocolate.
« on: April 01, 2015, 10:44:48 AM »
Dear Fellow Posters,

Well it is April fool day and my old Mother was very found of telling me if I was chocolate I would eat myself ( her way of telling me not to be big headed ).

Anyway our old friend and wonderful poster TW likes to say that some of us Chocolate Christians, so as a bit of fun if you were Chocolate what kind would you be.

I see myself as a Topic, full of nuts but kind of soft, oh and a tendency to stick between the teeth ::) ::)

Gonnagle.

PS: What has a Hazelnut in every bite, a Squirrels poo. ;D

Far better to be  a 'chocolate Christian' who is to most people's taste, than one like TW for whom it is hard to acquire a taste.

My chocolate would definitely be full of nuts too in tune with my character! ;D ;D ;D

Neither did I. I used to find the After Eight Mint Chocolate ads silly, with people nibbling tiny pieces off the corners, so I tried wolfing them down instead. The result? I felt sick. So after that I did not like After Eight mints either.

Really dark chocolate - at least 80% cocoa solids.

i.e. bitter.

I'll be a Bounty (milk choc version). Sickly sweet and irritating bits of coconut that get stuck in your teeth.

I've no idea if the Americans really have a 'Jesus' chocolate bar for kids, but bearing in mind talk of 'chocolate christians' this song from the great man himself is appropriate.

May I request folk not to talk about chocolate.  Since my coronary event (as they like to call such things), people have been going on at me about why I shouldn't eat it!!   :)   ;)   :(   :o     :-*
Are your, or your friends'/relatives', garages, lofts or sheds full of unused DIY gear, sewing/knitting machines or fabric and haberdashery stuff?

Dear floo,

I think it is wonderful that we are rediscovering the wonders of chocolate, the stuff is to good for kids, it should only be a adult pleasure :P maybe we should start a online petition, ban kids from eating chocolate 8)

That sounds as if it's supposed to be a metaphore... but we all know it isn't wiggs.

Bitey bitey

As for me, toblerone. Substantial and structuraly sound

A lot of people don't believe that the loch ness monster exists. Now, I don't know anything about zooology, biology, geology, herpetology, evolutionary theory, evolutionary biology, marine biology, cryptozoology, palaeontology or archaeology... but I think... what if a dinosaur got into the lake?

... and hurts the inside of your mouth.

I'll go for a dark chocolate Brazil - bitter on the outside, hard on the inside  ;)

I used to love all chocolate, but I can't eat it now:  I've lost my taste for it.  Literally, I cannot taste it.
