Given my understanding of the concept of hypocrisy, what makes her a hypocrite?

Can't you let your acolytes, Leonard and Floo, answer for themselves.  Floo accuses me of proselytising, which is simply not so, as I have  so often said; the last time only yesterday.  I stand up for my beliefs, and defend them against the strange people on this forum.   Floo attempts, day in and day out, to try and persuade others to change their beliefs by her constant barrage of atheist nonsense.  She is proselytising, and accuses me of it:  that is hypocrisy!  Now, perhaps you can let her answer for herself - if she can find the necessary template!

I disagree, by placing your comments here to be read by others you are pointing out what you see as the correctness of your beliefs which is what others disagree with - defending your beliefs in this way is inherently stating that other beliefs are in error.

I am not attempting to "convert" anyone  -  I couldn't be bothered.  If what you say is correct, then nobody can ever give an opinion, even though it is simply a statement of their position, without being accused of deriding other beliefs, or attempting to convert.

It was lovely here. I walked just about 4.5 miles I think and although my muscles ached afterwards, there was no Pain in my ancient, worn out left hip. Still no sign of compensation claim coming to a conclusion!

I was just looking up the old Bible college that my parents were involved with in the 1930s and 40s. This college is a big part of the history of my province. Two of our premiers having been pastors and teachers there. Anyhow, was pleasantly surprised while browsing the site to suddenly hear a short message from my father. A short address to the people of Bethel right before we left the city for the country life. I know i was in the audience but have no memory of this speech from dad. I had almost forgotten what my dad's voice sounded like.

Oh no, not distressed, just missing him.

Dad was born and raised on the original farm a mile and a half east of Calgary. My siblings and I sold the homestead after my Aunts passing in 2002. Today all the buildings my granddad built, barns, blacksmith shop, house, ect.  in 1904, 05 are still standing and are as sound as they were when built. House has even had a balcony built on the upper level.

There was something on Radio 4 yesterday about a huge exhibition of garden furniture etc plus plants and everything else. Apparently, you can get sort of 'designer' garden gloves - cost from £17 - £20! But someone e-mailed in to say that proper gardeners use the cheapest that are strong and sensible!

By the way, I'm wearing a 24-hour blood pressure monitor at the moment! I shall be very interested to find out what the readings are!

Monitor showed a need for slight increase in pills!

Went to West Quay today. Had lots of help from staff organising replacement buses from Brockenhurst to Southampton,  taxi drivers and shop assistants. In West Quay there is a very sensibly planned dark line at the side of the long walk, lined with shops, into the centre, so I follow this, with white-taped walking stick in one hand and signal cane in the other! Bought a new cosy dressing gown from M&S, walked round to the taxi rank not far from the Bar Gate for the return journey. Most enjoyable day.

Took my boy with me to fill up last night, which he moaned about - until we spotted a Bugatti Veyron on the forecourt. My goodness it was beautiful - and the noise! Like it had a souped-up panther under the engine.

Rather incongruous seeing it filling up at Tesco though. I imagined they ran on Elysian nectar with a dash of kryptonite.

(Seriously, it wasn't louder than a normal engine. Just very, very different).
