Thursday today, so that's tap class! 7 of us today and it's just lovely to hear all our feet tapping in unison.

And I have just spent an enjoyable twenty minutes or so watching some you tubes of the opening sequence from 42nd Street.

I hope this guy is sent down for a very long time, for deliberately mutilating his patients!
Very much agree. I hope the money he made from it all is used to pay for his stay in prison.

Yesterday I had  an apt at the hospital following tests two weeks ago. I have a small breast tumour for which the treatment is pills for three months and then a review. It is low grade and low level so that is good, but I thought that would be the diagnosis. I was most impressed that they seem to have found records of the last one which was 30 years ago!

Thank you for saying. Fortunately, I feel very well - I went to the gym this morning, for instance!
I wouldn't be surprised if, in a couple of years time, people started saying, 'Oh, are you stil here? I thought you were dead!' !!!

I've been taking the Letrozole since Thursday and no side effects so far.

I was thinking of conservatory but don't think I'll buy one right now. Let us know how you get on with it.

A bit of fun this morning - my daughter-in-law came to the dance studio and took a few minutes of me dancing! :)  This is so that, when I'm dead,  my sons will have a record of what ancient mother did!

My husband had an appointment with the nurse at our surgery this morning for 9.00am. The poor guy has a nasty carbuncle on the back of his neck, which I am dealing with, but obviously it needs checking up on until it is better. We were seen at 8.48am and on our way home by 9.02am, how is that for service?  :)
I hsd one of those years ago. Fucking awful it was. I wish him a speedy recovery.

Yes, the NHS can be very fast.   I had an infection on the first day of our holiday, and I rang the surgery at 8am, went round for a test, and got antibiotics by 10am, and we were on our way.

The computer chap came this morning and fixed things so that I can see the video(s) my daughter-in-law took of me tap dancing!! Unfortunately, it has to be watched sideways! :)

If it's okay with studio owner, I will try and post a link to it, but that might take a while.

That'll be good, Susan.  :D

I have an ear infection and feel thoroughly miserable.

I was taken out for lunch today by a handsome, sweet and very amusing young man. Just the tonic I needed!

This was posted by our middle daughter (43) on Facebook. No she isn't cheating on her old man, the young man in question is her son, nearly 13, who likes to treat his Mum to a meal from time to time. His reasoning is that very elderly people, like his mother, need looking after. ;D

If his description of a 43 year old is 'very elderly' what does he call people of our age!

On second, third and fouth thoughgts I don't think I want to know!

Though some years ago my son and his siister, 7 and 9 at the time, wetre doing their home work and having finished his he offered to help his sister with hers.

Sister: I have to show the difference betwen a pair of words and I'm stuck on one.

Brother: What are the words?

Sister: Old and ancient.

Brother: Oh, that's easy - Mum's old (29 then) and Dad's ancient (44)!

Yet again this morning I have encountered a blocked pavement with no safe place to walk provided. I go for my long walk early on a Sunday so that I can move as smartly as I can without having to peer out for other people. On the way back I had a taxi and the driver stopped at the other end of the blockage and made a note of the communications company involved, so I have spent the last fifteen minutes writing a report. I have also left a message on their phone number, stating that I have a complaint and that they should phone me tomorrow. I intend to be at my assertive best!

A friend of mine in Somerset was telling me about a local news item - a 90-year-old Zoomba dancer! I googled it and the article was very interesting. The pictures were light so I could get a good idea of what was going on.

I then googled zoomba dancing and watched part of a video! As my friend says, it is a bit like step aerobic classes without the step and every now and again the music includes someone calling out, 'zoom, zoom zoomba!'

Well it passed a quite interesting twenty minutes or so, but I must do the washing up now!  :)
