Lr
The flat bread sounds delish
Have you got some Yorkshire hummus ( mushy pees) , Apple, grapes ,cheese and a splash of olive oil to go with it ?
I'm bloody starving at the moment !
Sorry about the burn though 😱

We only have soup with it, nothing else. Mushy peas are REVOLTING, imo.

Unfortunately the burn is quite a lot larger than I initially thought, serves me right for not paying enough attention to  what I was doing. No doubt my girls will give their senile old Mum a lecture when they find out about it. ???

hey, we should meet up and go down the pub...

Or we could go on a toilet roll hunt - which may well replace Easter Egg hunts this year, as there seem to be ridiculous numbers of Easter Eggs.

shame about the pub situation 😪

However the toilet roll hunt might be more practical for the aftermath of the chili😤

Probably, but not where that horrible concoction is concerned. I don't think any of my family like mushy peas, either.

NHS staff are facing empty supermarket shelves when they shop after coming off shift !
Maybe we should have NHS collection bins where we can donate food for them , similar for the ones for the food banks 😷👍

Just a thought

I wouldn't put it as strongly as that, but I'm not wild.
Re. chilli: I first heard of chills some time in the mid-60s, when they were not nearly as well known in the UK as they are now. I was in my mid teens, and in the kitchen of a friend's house. The friend offered me a dred chilli to taste, and told me they wer called chillis because theyy tasted cool, like cucumbers. I believed him, and put it whole in my mouth. I didn't make that mistake a seconnd time.

A thought has just struck me about your frequent name changes Steve. Apart from some people being bit confused at first as to who you are, I wonder if it makes any difficulties for people with vision problems like Susan Doris and Anchorman? They have a special software package I believe.

Good boy, why not go back to calling yourself by your given name, it is far nicer than anything else you have come up with?

Well I approve of your name changes: a bit of fun is rarely a bad thing, and besides I immediately saw the Goonery with this one.

How very dare you!
No, but the original H G-T, a character in 'The Goon Show', was supposed to be, although, it being the 50s, it was hinted at rather than openly stated, and was a source of ribaldry.
