Well, it's nearly 10:30 p.m. so past my bedtime, but about half-an-hour ago I arrived back from a 4.5 hour visit to A&E. during the past three or four days, I have had some chest pain actually strongish discomfort which made its presence felt; , not sharp, more dull and some tightness so today phoned GP, who, bearing in mind my history, advised ringing 999. Details were taken, had a phone call back with more questions, but I had to have some blood test which the local surgery couldn't do, so paramedics came along, did ECG, took another long set of answers to questions. Most of the time in A&E of course, I was just sitting on one of the beds, doing nothing. Blood pressure taken at regular intervals and two more ECGs plus an X-ray. Seems to be some lack of sodium, but there was fibrillation last night - apparently I should have phoned 999 then, but it went away after a while - so it had to be an A&E visit.
There will be follow-up apppts with GP and maybe a Cardiologist. I'm feeling fine nowand having had nothing to eat or drink since I left here, have had a bowl of cereal and a hot drink!
And that's quite enough excitement for one day!!
