It's tiresome and depressing in the extreme that this exact same conversation was being played out nine months ago: http://tinyurl.com/y9a55f9a

No doubt in nine months time it will still be being played out as AB isn't likely to change his tune. ::)

I wonder if the mods could create a new rule which says that a direct question must be answered within, say, two days, or the person not answering will have to pay a forfeit?
I don't see that it could ever be enforceable - and what would the forfeit be?

I agree though that it's frustrating to see so many questions go unanswered.

NS,

Oh I dunno - maybe if every time he avoided, misrepresented or dissembled AB was required to write 100 times, "I now understand that the Theory of Evolution does not say what I thought it said" it would be good for his (ahem) "soul"... ;)
"Don't make me come down there."

You can see why this time of year is called 'the silly season', if the posts on this thread, of late, are anything to go by.  ;D

I think silliness is good whatever the season: in fact, the more the merrier.

Maybe after this morning's craziness, the Mods might be persuaded that this thread has run its course and give it the funeral it deserves! ;D

I think we could reset the clock by saying to Alan: "This God business - well that sounds like a load of old pony, doesn't it?" and we're good for another 20,000 posts easily.
