Don't know about you, but I am fully conscious of what my subconcious has choosen to write on this forum - it is obviously chosen by nature, in other words me.
Do you think your consciousness informs your subconscious?
Is logic operated in the consciousness or subconsciousness?
Is thinking in the conscious?

No amount of attempted fallacy detection

It wasn't attempted; it was successful.

Complete non sequitur to my post, and you have managed to fit in a begging the question in assuming the thing you are arguing for, and on top of that it's a thing that you haven't managed in your many thousands of posts on here to define in a logically coherent way. Even for you, Alan, that was a sentence of stunning worthlessness.

No amount of attempted fallacy detection can take away the truth in what I posted.  The physically pre determined reactions in nature could never give you the power to consciously choose what you have written.

Here you use the argument from incredulity, so your statement is worthless. It is flawed.

Why do you keep making the same errors?

I exist, so do animals of other species, so what?
But you do not exist in other animals.
You only exist in yourself.
You are unique.
You need to come to terms with what you are, which is God's creation.

But it is not an argument from incredulity.
It is an argument based upon the physical impossibility of your consciously driven choices to be derived entirely from pre determined physical reactions in nature.

That's assertion and incredulity - it doesn't even amount to an argument since all you do is state the premise.

That's just an assertion, not a fact.
We are all the produce of evolution.
Your last sentence is itself an assertion, not a provable fact.

But where do these assertions originate?
What is responsible for invoking an assertion?
Do we have the freedom to assert?
If so, how can this freedom exist in a physically pre defined scenario?

What is your understanding of the scientific term theory, Alan?

It is a theory not a fact.

Theory is the pinnacle of science.

It is a theory that the Earth orbits the Sun, it's also as close to a fact that we do not even consider it any more.

In science we have nothing better than theory. There are no proofs in science.

Theory is the pinnacle of science.

It is a theory that the Earth orbits the Sun, it's also as close to a fact that we do not even consider it any more.

The earth's orbit is easily verified and predictable.

It is impossible to verify that every one of the billions of specific mutations involved in generating life on this earth were caused by random events.

That is why unguided evolution can never be claimed as a fact.

Not a question of 'coming to terms'; it is a question of evidence.  There needs to be some justification for your assertions.  I can't just start believing things for no reason.

That is why unguided evolution can never be claimed as a fact.

But that is what the evidence suggests.  Science doesn't deal in truths, it deals with evidence and theories in science are abstractions that best fit the available evidence.

It is an argument based upon the physical impossibility of your consciously driven choices to be derived entirely from pre determined physical reactions in nature.

That is just assertion, and a grand one at that.

What is the evidence for your assertion ?  You can't just go around asserting things with no justification and expect to be taken seriously.

But the fact that I can go around asserting things offers substantial evidence that I have the freedom to consciously choose to do this.  A freedom to invoke such assertions can't be derived solely from physically pre determined events in my brain which can only produce inevitable reactions.

That's another assertion. Your assertions can just as well be predetermined so the fact that you assert proves nothing.

Quite clearly, looking inward isn't as easy as we sometimes assume. Sad!
