The morality of violence

Quite interesting article on violence, I think it overdoes its claim to novelty (I kept hearing an eye for an eye running through my head) but some good case studies and a better perspective than the 'lone nutjob'

An interesting article, NS.  Thanks.

On a purely readability level, I get rather annoyed with articles that have adverts part-way through and 'in-line' with the text - though rarely to the extent of wanting to do violence!!.  Possibly something to do with reading from a screen, but I find them disruptive, and often find myself having to read the article 3 or 4 times before I properly get the gist of the piece.  Do others have the same problem?
Are your, or your friends'/relatives', garages, lofts or sheds full of unused DIY gear, sewing/knitting machines or fabric and haberdashery stuff?
