Hass anyone manged to log onto the BFI site and view themselves (or family/friends) on any of the newly digitalised historical film archive?  I've tried to log on several times but I suspect that the interest may have crashed the site as I'm getting a "This web page is not available" message.
Are your, or your friends'/relatives', garages, lofts or sheds full of unused DIY gear, sewing/knitting machines or fabric and haberdashery stuff?

Lists of what is needed and a search engine to find your nearest collector (scroll to bottom for latter) are here:  http://www.twam.uk/donate-tools

Just saw this Hope - I managed to log on fine a couple of evenings ago - so if you haven't, give it another go. The films I viewed of Nottingham and Mansfield were fascinating. In fact I  roamed far and wide and spent the whole evening on the site. I got told off as apparently I should have a life to live :(
