The ministry of Jesus was about showing people how to live. It's beyond tragic that people focus so much on his death that they forget that.

Wrong why not post what scripture says.Try again.

Just because something is in the Bible doesn't mean it has any veracity, especially if it isn't credible! ::)

Are you completely barmy or are you acting.I ask the other one a question why dont the pair of you knock your heads together and try and answer it.

:)

What is it you like, the idea of Floo and I hurting ourselves or the idea that we should dwell on Jesus' death rather than the stuff he taught about living?
Neither. In the search for the historical Floo, it is clear that any post without the words "veracity" or "credible" or stating that "the deity is evil" is not from floo.
I thought TW's question about floo being barmy was spot on.

As for "dwell(ing) on Jesus' death rather than the stuff he taught about living", why should it be just one or the other.

And no, I was not liking the idea of floo and you hurting yourselves. Nor do I think TW was suggesting you literally banged your heads together. Did you really take it that way?

Alien if you and the barmy army of Biblical literalists agreed with me, I would be really worried! ;D ;D ;D

Why do you think I am a "Biblical literalist", Auntie Floo?
Apparently 99.9975% atheist because I believe in one out of 4000 believed in (an atheist on Facebook). Yes, check the maths as well.

Hands up, on first read-through that's I what I took it to mean as well, Alien. Teaches us all to take a moment when we're reading :)

Just pure ignorance...

Christians DO NOT dwell on his death. Rather they understand that which they have today because of that death.
Christ rising from death gives the credence to the faith professed by millions...

In all honesty if asked to give my faith up for Love of another it would be an impossibility. It would be to say my faith is false.
In truth I could not actually make an act of giving up my faith for another because it would be a lie. I believe the disciples were in the same position when it cost them their lives. It does not make our faith less real or our God less true to deny either. In our hearts we know that God is real. So we would deceive ourselves and deceive others.

Men want believers to deny their faith.... not because it makes God any less real but helps their cause to believe he is none existent.
The truth is that God loves us unconditionally... When someone dies for their faith it isn't about stubborness or dishonesty and doubt.
It is about truth in it's highest and purest form. One true God made known to man by Jesus Christ.

Credible... what about dying for your belief rather than deny God is not credible evidence than that...

Have you always had such a vivid imagination Sass?
