The news lately...
« on: September 07, 2015, 10:54:25 AM »
With everything going on in the world, I believe the european union and the government believe that if they flood every Country with people from others they will be able to make all the unions one in government and money system.
Making the people one union.

It is scary when you think that is the perfect setting for the Anti-Christ to arise.
Religion becoming a thing of the past when voting they get rid of it.
Taking the Roman Catholic Church in saying they will be the Church of the Union and then letting them go and destroying it's control over people.

When this happens what will the atheist want to do? Will they open their arms to this and regret it later when their own freedom of belief is removed. When you follow the person in power and you follow the will only of that person.
That person making himself out to be god (being in control to the world visually controlling it's people) and not allowing any religion or religious practices to be carried out. So making himself above all that is religion and all that shows in man their is a God by action and prayer.

Do you see the signs of the times...

King James Bible
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Could such a thing happen if every country individual in the power stakes?

What would you choose? To die or to live and worship the image of the beast?

I know most do not take anything seriously but what do you think is happening in the world today?

In 1973 an evangelist made this prediction.

There will be a move toward a worldwide, unified monetary system. The US dollar will be hit bad and it will take years for it to recover.

Quote
Currencies yielded
European Currency Unit Austrian schilling Belgian franc Cypriot pound Dutch guilder Estonian kroon Finnish markka French franc German mark Greek drachma Irish pound Italian lira Latvian lats Lithuanian litas Luxembourgish franc Maltese lira Monegasque franc Portuguese escudo Sammarinese lira Slovak koruna Slovenian tolar Spanish peseta Vatican lira

Currencies which remain...

Quote
British pound sterling (incl. Gibraltar pound) Bulgarian lev Croatian kuna Czech koruna Hungarian forint Polish złoty Romanian leu Swedish krona

We make small steps to that union of a money system.

But there is only one way to escape the reality of what is to happen and that is to make Jesus Christ your Saviour before it is too late.
The truth is many believers in Jesus will die before accepting the mark of the Beast or worshipping the beast. Read Revelation 13 and tell us where you stand.

Do you mock the evidence that which is becoming plain? I wonder what many here will do when and if it, happens in their life time. Whatever happens IT is best to choose death than to live as a prisoner in a world where you have no choice and God is no longer allowed to be worshipped.

You haven't a clue to things foretold and the signs of the time. How else can a Beast arise with control over the world? If you don't understand the things in the bible or the signs of the times. Then best you remain quiet and wait for the people who do to answer so you can learn.

If you think that monetary policy is linked to the rise of the anti-christ you are even more unusual and misled than I took you for previously.

Really! Once again you show your lack of knowledge regarding the bible and the world around us. Pity you haven't the education or the brains to make a reasoned and well thought out reply...

'There will be a move toward a worldwide, unified monetary system. The US dollar will be hit bad and it will take years for it to recover.'

Given that Wilkerson said this in 1973, is there some time limit on it because it hasn't happened.

You googled... but you lack the knowledge of the bible or the ability to think outside the box.
It is a fact that it is written:

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Who knows what the answers would have been had you knew what is written.
People no longer paid in cash are they? Must have bank/post office accounts all done by chip and pin cards. Do you need actual virtual money if a mark on your hand or head allows you to buy and sell?

I was hoping for people in the KNOW to come along and discuss the realities..
What would the dollar be worth if that was the way ahead?

Would it be worth anything outside it;s own country?

There has been no attempt in the last forty two years to introduce a world currency, this is a very simple fact.

Anyhoo;
I read similar apocalyptic rot in an edition of 'The Watchtower' dating from January this year....before shredding it and giving the result to next door's rabbits.
At least it will have been useful.

Any chance we can get the OP moved to a more suitable board - say something called astrology, oneiromancy and other wibblings?

Not a world currency. A better suggestions would have been in 73, the Eurodollar but time has moved on from then and it is really just an accounting mechanism, though that is true of all money at vase, even a currency backed by gold or precious metal standards.

Value is a simple but effective construct

No, it's on topic.

Politics and current affairs.

Sassy is talking about current affairs, although it might fit on the Christian board I suppose 😜
I would suggest it is methodologically inappropriate. On this basis the star sign mince in your paper would qualify.

Where does an oak tree come from?
That's right there has to be a beginning for everything.
A world currency just couldn't appear overnight could it.
So why make a remark which shows you refuse to even think logically about what is being said?

My point is to discuss the question could it happen and if so, how?
Did they think in the 1920's that in the 1930's a man like Hitler could invade so many Countries and kill and imprison so many people especially Jews and Disabled people ( of any religion and nationality). Had they been evidence that would happen or be likely, would they have allowed it to happen?

Because as a prediction that there would be an attempt to introduce a world currency, it fails on.the basis that there has been no such attempt.

Europe isn't the world, Sassy.

We still have the £ anyway.  The Euro can make life easier if you visit the rest of Europe.  It's a pain if you have to keep changing currency if you are passing through more than one country. Plus it costs, converting it all.

No one in Europe is forcing people to give up religion, people have the freedom to choose not to participate.

I take your point about bank accounts and cards, although my stubborn old dad who is now 90 refuses to have a bank account so the government has to find another way to pay his pension  ;D

You can if you are bloody minded enough, refuse to have one.

No one has tattooed a bar code on our bums yet 😳
