And that's precisely why you people give him stick, because there is no come-back.
You make it sound as though it would be different if there was.

I'm simply saying it is the attitude of the bully and coward to repeatedly deride a person who cannot, or will not, respond in kind.

And it's the attitude of a whiny-arsed little bitch to keep on bleating about other people as though they're made of spun glass and their beliefs immune to challenge and critique.

Why must you always speak in the language of the gutter?  Don't tell me:  because that's where you belong.

It probably would be if anyone actually did that. Fortunately for AB what actually happens instead is that his beliefs and the reasoning he uses to support them are criticised, but he personally isn't.

You really seem to be struggling with the difference for some reason.

I think you've missed a few posts:  there are pretty frequent references to his personal attitude and stance.

I'm not going to try, but it's a pretty fair bet you've contributed a few:  you are hardly able to post without denigrating the person you are posting to.

For my part, I'm pretty sure my only replies to him have been of the "your reasoning is fallacious and this is why" type - and those I've seen from others have been anything but "bullying" too.

If you think otherwise no doubt you have some examples to share though.

Won't you?

Exactly!

If there is a heaven AB will most likely be there, however I suspect the 'Christians' who bring the faith into disrepute with their nastiness may well end up in hell with us heathen. If that is the case I for one would take much pleasure in saying, "I told you so!" ;D

I don't intend to do the work for you.  Have a read through some, and see for yourself.  Try reading what's said about Sassy too.

Perhaps you could say a prayer for them on the Christian Forums.

It's not "for me" at all: you made the accusation, so it's up to you to support it with some evidence. As it seems that either you can't be arsed or that you realise that the charge is false, perhaps now you can turn your attention to grasping that criticising beliefs is not the same thing as criticising the people who hold them.

And once that's sunk in, perhaps you could turn your attention too to understanding the private beliefs are just that - private - but when those who hold them insist that they should also be privileged in the public square it's not only right but essential that those beliefs are challenged, however much offence it may cause.

When will you people manage to do away with the foul language?  You show yourselves up again and again.  Have some decorum.

I found the one Johnny is referring to.

It's on the Christian forums.

Sorry I still can't bring it up! If I did write such a poem I have no recollection of doing so and it is not stored in my archive like everything else I have ever written.

Sassy has posted it for you Floo, along with the link.

There is no problem with you once thinking something, and then changing your mind.

It's all part of "working out things for yourself."

People do change what they believe over time, it's not a static process.

Where has Sass posted it?

And in a statement of fact Bashful is a hypocrite

And there we see precisely what I have been talking bout:  you are only here to attack and criticise.  Anything positive to say today?  Thought not!

Your posts are Moebius strips of Irony, I can only doff my cap to a master of the reverse insult.

Bashful, if you're not looking for abuse, why are you here?

I couldn't help noticing you've had enough abuse and handed out plenty too while you're, hopefully on your short visit, will that be enough abuse for you it should last you at least another couple of months?

By the way isn't it about time you converted to atheism or secular humanism?

Floo, wrote what she did as posted on the thread. She may not remember but she did. It is there for everyone to see. What is wrong, is that you show an inability to admit when someone is wrong and try and defend a wrong position and yet at the same time shout about the need to admit to being in the wrong. Double standards seem to be your bag. Go whine where someone takes you seriously, Your credibility is lost here.

Let me guess: you're not going to be able to show us any of these posts.
Are you going to claim you have never read them or they do not exist?
Could that be a deliberate act on your part?

Try this thread where her poem/prayer is posted and shows she used the Word LORD and said Amen.

Why make yourself look any more two-faced and insincere than you already have. Usually people are two faced but your attempts remind of a tower clock...faced all around.

Grow a pair and stop trying to make someone in the wrong out to be right. It doesn't work.
