So I am as certain as I can be that we can't choose what we believe, but I was wondering if 'faith' was different.
Is it like broccoli? you can't choose to like it... but you can choose to eat it, because its good for you. Notwithstanding the scientific evidence that establishes the nutritional value of broccoli, is choosing to eat like faith? and being a little bit sick in your mouth when you do like belief?
And if that is the case is it possible to have faith in god - that he works in the world and we need his saving grace or whatever - without actually believing he exists for sure?
