Hi Rose,
No time for me time at the moment and I appreciate everything you have said and where you are coming from.
God is love and he will provide. My friend lost her dog on Monday, Candy had to be put down by the vet her heart was failing. She is heart broken, and my eldest sister very poorly but trusting in God. I am tired and would love a break by the sea somewhere just to read and collect my thoughts.Where the crashing of the waves lull me to sleep. All nice in thought, isn't it.
It's very sad when you lose a companion like that, they are part of the family. Hope your sister soon feels better.
I love the sound of the sea and the waves crashing.
Unfortunately I now live about as far away from the sea as I can get in the UK
Sometimes I go fishing and accompany my hubby on night fishing trips, sitting on chesil beach listening to the waves is very relaxing.
Just got to wrap up warm
I think it is good when a couple can share their interests. Sounds romantic.
Yet probably cold and dark drinking coffee to keep warm wrapped in blankets during the winter months.
I remember when my husband use to have to travel to Scotland to do his belts for Aikido. It was good to be somewhere different and to have time to ourselves when he had done his belt.
When I between 15 and 17 we use to go to the beach for BBQs and sit by a fire we built and sing along with guitars. We stayed until evening then having had a good time returned home by cars and mini buses.
It was all good clean fun and we really laughed and enjoyed ourselves.
My friend wants me to take her for a new dog. I think an older dog again is best for her. She is at her sons tonight so hopefully she will feel better rather than being alone at home.
It has been a funny evening.... Take care.
