How do you decide whom you will pray for?
« on: October 08, 2015, 11:28:43 AM »
My heart is heavy as a believer because I know my heavenly Father is NOT a respecter of persons. I pray for all those who need prayer seeing no one more important than another and knowing that it is not a personality contest.
For we are to treat everyone the same.

Looking at the prayer threads whom would you say are prayed for equally?
My sister died from a brain haemorrhage during that time was the most heart wrenching for myself. Two of my nieces having died in the previous years.
I remember feeling as if life would never be the same. Anyone needing prayer I pray for because those times were so sad it left a lasting impression on my soul.

I put effort and faith into my prayers for all. Because, I have come to know that God hears and wants all well and healed. I have no longer to ask myself if I have enough faith. I know God has enough power and the truth is he is not a liar.
He really wants all who ask to be healed.

So Gods will is for everyone's life. Do you pray according to that will or do you pray for those whom you care about only? Even when I see an ambulance with a blue light and sirens I pray for the person they are going to or taking. I ask for relief from fear and to heal them. I hope it is a new arrival but alas I know that is not going to always be the case. Even if I see a plane I ask for a safe Journey and refreshing holiday or time where they go.

Prayer is pretty much incorporated into my life. My children and I, pray together for those brought to our attention. How do you decide (if you pray) whom you will pray for?

We know we have to work together to abolish war and terrorism to create a compassionate  world in which Justice and peace prevail. Love ;D   Einstein

Hi Rose,

No time for me time at the moment and I appreciate everything you have said and where you are coming from.

God is love and he will provide. My friend lost her dog on Monday, Candy had to be put down by the vet her heart was failing. She is heart broken, and my eldest sister very poorly but trusting in God. I am tired and would love a break by the sea somewhere just to read and collect my thoughts.Where the crashing of the waves lull me to sleep. All nice in thought, isn't it. :)

Hi Rose,

God is love and he  will provide. My friend lost her dog on Monday, Candy had to be put down by the vet her heart was failing. It's very sad when you lose a companion like that, they are part of the family. Hope your sister soon feels better.

I love the sound of the sea and the waves crashing.

Unfortunately I now live about as far away from the sea as I can get in the UK  :(

Sometimes I go fishing and accompany my hubby on night fishing trips, sitting on chesil beach listening to the waves is very relaxing.

Just got to wrap up warm  :)

I think it is good when a couple can share their interests. Sounds romantic.
Yet probably cold and dark drinking coffee to keep warm wrapped in blankets during the winter months.
I remember when my husband use to have to travel to Scotland to do his belts for Aikido.  It was good to be somewhere different and to have time to ourselves when he had done his belt.

When I between 15 and 17 we use to go to the beach for BBQs and sit by a fire we built and sing along with guitars. We stayed until evening then having had a good time returned home by cars and mini buses.

It was all good clean fun and we really laughed and enjoyed ourselves.

My friend wants me to take her for a new dog. I think an older dog again is best for her. She is at her sons tonight so hopefully she will feel better rather than being alone at home.

It has been a funny evening.... Take care.
