Snow started here last night, and has continued most of today. "Thundersnow" appears to be the term of the moment. A lot of roads are blocked, schools were closed early, and high winds are causing drifts. My back door has four steps. I can only access one of them; that means there's at least a foot of snow thetre at the moment...and it's still snowing quite heavily.
sounds a bit severe !

It's sopped snowing here but the wind strength is increasing which means I'm in for a rough night !

It's nice & bright here in occupied Kent, but the wind is nasty.

Send some rain up here, then, will you?
The roads are blocked here yet again with new snow this morning...they only got them cleared properly yesterday!

Been snowing constantly for the last 2 hours, and on the side roads it is lying on top of earlier snow. Wouldn't be able to get to the main road now, so it is just as well I wasn't planning to.

It is raining now, but still quite cold, it is supposed to be much milder this evening.

heavy snow here at the moment , infact I've  been stuck in it now since Thursday .
Fortunately I've got food for another 3 days and about 30 liters of water .
Forecast is for warmer conditions by about Tuesday so should be okay 👍

Essex, supposed to be the driest county in the country, you wouldn't think so today, even our dog didn't really want to go for her walk today, I had to partly dry her down with an old towel, when I came back, before she drowned the house out, it's pretty bad when the dog doesn't want to go out.

Snow's washed away, just a sea of mud.

/Damp and grey first thing this morning but sun came out, so I was able to get out and walk for half-an-hour. Not longer, because it is swimming as usual this afternoon.

The water tap finally thawed so I filled my tank and found a supermarket just in case. Happy days 👍😎

This'll be the fourth white stuff fall of the winter. Only a couple of inches so far this time; I've got off light.

Ohhhhh I so agree with this. I realised that I am a Responsible Adult the first time I said ‘fuck off snow’ and not ‘yay, snow!’

Fair amount of snow here (northern edge of Glasgow) overnight - no chance of driving today, since I couldn't even get as far as the local main road.
