It is very pleasant here in Nottingham, too LR. Contrary to the weather forecast of mainly cloudy, it is in fact mainly sunny. I am pottering in the garden.

This morning's weather forecast suggested it would be cloudy here too, but they were wrong. In fact I don't know why they bother, more often than not unless they are looking out of the window they don't appear to know what the weather is doing. On-line they give a prediction for a fortnight ahead, but change it every couple of hours. :o

Yes, don't know why they do that.

Beeooteeful - and the wind seems to have died down at last.
On my bike ride on Monday, it was pleasantly warm, but not blazingly hot, as the wind kept the temperatures down. The sun was just as strong, though, and I ended up beetroot-coloured.

It is sunny again today, but the breeze is quite fresh, it doesn't feel as warm as yesterday.

We are having some much needed rain today, but I suspect it won't know when to stop. ::)

When the hell are we going to get somedecent summer weather? It's been windy every day for over a month now, and cloudy and cool, and yesterday pissed down, and today isn't much better, and the 14-day weather forecst says that it'll continue "unsettled" (as weather forecasters say when they mean bloody awful) at least until the end of June. >:(

Weather has been good here on the whole, warm and sunny. A bit of rain, like yesterday, refreshing but not heavy and still warm. Today is intermittently sunny and very breezy but temperature good (18 degrees). Looking forward to going out later.

I saw the forecast last night and apparently it will be cooler next week. Today there will be a lot of rain in the country but not too much where I live, just a shower, but the breeze will escalate in most places. We're still only at the beginning of June, probably have flaming weather from next month, like last year. Must admit I don't care one way or another but would be nice to have balmy weather when I go away.

Praise to Chthulu for the rain, as our allotment was becoming parched and rock hard.  Rain dance worked.

Unfortunately, Chthulu now seems to be working overtime. Perhaps he needs to be put back to sleep again. We'll call him up again to try and kill off Trump and Bolsonaro some time later this year.

I'm busy building a boat. I'm looking for volunteers to go around and collect two of each animal for me.

make sure you stock-up on biodegradable poo bags , you don't want to be blamed for messing up the planet .

Apparently somebody did that once before but sent a pretty rainbow to say sorry . So that was alright then  ::)

Don't forget it has to be seven pairs of the "clean" animals. Should be pretty clean before the actual Flood at this rate....

Or seven animals. The text is somewhat ambiguous, I believe.

Kuwait city has apparently recorded the temp of 63 degrees Celsius under direct sunlight  (52.2 degrees in the shadows). This could be the highest temp ever recorded on the planet, if confirmed.  The world record presently stands at 56.7 degrees C in Death Valley, California in 1913.

Quite hot today. No wind. Day off instead of Friday, don't feel like doing much& didn't wake when husband went to work earlier, happy being a dozy couch potato.

Hot yesterday as it has been for a while.  Temps going down next week but will still be reasonably warm here.

I'm off to Filey today for a fortnight, looked at fourteen day forecast and we'll have some rain for three days mid week but the next week, none. Quite warm throughout (if forecsat proves to be accurate).
