Still very hot in our part of the SE ... when the rain arrives I'll strip off and dance wildly in the garden :)

Likewise here in our part of the SE. We had a sprinkle of rain during the night but still looks dry as a bone this morning. And non of the flashy, bangy stuff yet.
Before we work on Artificial Intelligence shouldn't we address the problem of natural stupidity.

Overcast and cooler today, and dry so far.

Here there is a thunderstorm, in which there has been continuous thunder for at least 30 minutes. Now the rain is coming down sideways.

At sunset last night we had a yellow sky, something I hadn't come across before as far as I can remember. Apparently thunderstorms can cause this phenomena.

Still over 35 c today here in deepest Essex, my wife tells me that there was a raging storm earlier this morning, never heard a thing, I'm next to dead once I put my head down to sleep.

I think this ability of mine to sleep soundly every night even through thunder storms etc, must be due to my having lived such a pristine blameless life witch in turn bestows upon me such a clear conscience freeing me of so many worries all of you wicked people out there have to deal with on a daily basis no doubt, I'm not sure why but my wife doesn't agree with me on this?

Another humid night. It is overcast this morning with a bit of a mizzle, but slightly cooler than yesterday, thank goodness.

Slightly fresher, overcast, it rained overnight, we are supposed to have thunderstorms later.

We have had a bit of light rain, but so far none of the thunderstorms that were predicted. The sun has just come out, it is quite pleasant.

There was a very big downpour an hour ago which lasted about twenty minutes. It was lovely. No rain now though, sun is out again.

Our Very Heavy Downpour only penetrated a couple of inches - the soil is still dry under that.

The towns and villages all around here seem to be going under water one after the other, Chelmsford had boat trips around the town centre a couple of days ago, I'm beginning to wonder what we have done here, only I plumbed in and twinned up two water buts together at the end of our garage about three months ago and they've only managed to collect about two to three inches of water?

Regards to all ippy.

....make the collecting holes bigger or fix the leak?
