Not 100% sure but I think I've just seen a cloud. Huzzah.

I am wishing for snow, I don't do well in heat.

Floo, it's always good to have something to grumble about, it keeps us happy, only this time the grumble is, it's too hot.

True but it really is stifling.Thank goodness for air conditioning in car & at work, that was all pleasant. Not so nice now I'm back at home  ;D.
Snow sounds quite appealing!

I have seen quite a number of people out and about in this extreme heat without wearing any head covering. Of course that is up to them, but it is shocking when young children aren't wearing hats either! :o

I suppose it is but little kids are fond of ripping hats off & releasing them into the wild! The people you saw may not have been out for long,we can all take a bit of sun exposure.

Wish there was more breeze.

Be grateful we aren't in Phoenix.

It's lovely here in the East Midlands today.

Cloudy all day with a cool breeze. The perfect antidote to the stifling oppression of yesterday.

I'm hoping this is extending as far as Shaker land to give my old pal some welcome relief from the heat.

It is! I woke up this morning to a cool breeze blowing in and billowing out the curtains.

However.

The bad news is that tomorrow is going to be stiflingly hot again  :(

The good news is that thereafter it's going to go back to sensible temperatures, possibly the high teens by Friday  :) Also the possibility of rain Wednesday night into Thursday.

It's hot!

Even with air conditioning just seen a work colleague pass out and get taken to hospital by ambulance  😟

I hope they are ok.

Plus everyone who has hay fever seems to be suffering terribly ATM. Fortunately for me I don't, but lots do.

Supposed to be going to thunder tomorrow.

Damp down the pollen and freshen it up a bit.

It's the nights that's the worst! Always hotter upstairs, I'm already surrounded by fans.

They are noisy! Specially the metal ones  :o

It's all too much!
Was thinking, i remember when I was a child being sick, i.e. vomiting, in heat like this. Was in Torquay with parents and sister in summer of 1976 and couldn't keep anything down for a day or two.

When I got in this evening I had something to eat and history repeated itself, you don't need the details. Good thing is it got rid of my headache though.

My old mum wasn't well over weekend, she was sure it was the heat. Seems OK now.

Hay fever not playing up atm thankfully.

Cooler tomorrow and rest of week but still pleasantly warm.

Must be the worst start to the summer here as long as I can remember. Midsummer is always celebrated here on the weekend nearest to the 21st with the Friday as a day off. The weather is predicted to be cloudy and about 15°C. Not very good. We're meant to outside drinking beer, making bonfires and having barbecues.

Might be OK ad_o. (My kids would have barbecues in the winter!)

Nice breeze today, wasn't too bad yesterday but today's better.
