No rain, but overcast and 22°C. That'll do nicely  :)

Same just down the road here. Although a light shower this afternoon. I was gardening so stayed out in the drizzle just to enjoy the experience.  :)

My eldest daughter phoned yesterday and demanded to know if I had put my washing out. She is on her hols down south, her tent got very wet when there was a sudden downpour, as did her belongings, which were outside it.  It is a standing joke that it always rains if I put my washing out! I was not to blame yesterday, but as I am about to put some out in a few minutes I might be today. ;D

It has happened.

At last.

At ten minutes past midnight there was a huge rumble of thunder and rain - much rain - fell from the skies onto the parched landscape of Lot-et-Garonne.

This morning, the sky is a comforting grey and the temperature only 20C - mercifully we shall be spared the 36C afternoons of the past weeks,

The next wonder will be the brown earth turning green again.

It'll happen surprisingly quickly, two days of rain here and everything went greenish again. It's been raining here all morning. Got my windows wide, the smell is wonderful.

It was only 4C when I went for my daily walk at 6.45am. That made a change from all that awful heat. I even needed to put a fleece on for the first time in weeks.

Yes, feels a bit chilly today. Wish I'd worn a jumper.

We have just had a very heavy downpour. So far no sign of the thunderstorms, which are forecast, thank goodness, as I dislike them so much.

It's 10,15 in the evening, here in Lot-et-Garonne (9.15 in UK) and the satellite tv pictures are beginning to break up, an ominous sign! Strms are predicted overnight together with heavy rain.

Today has been glorious with temperatures in the mid 30s and a cloudless sky. I had lunch, with friends, on the terrace at a nearby restaurant. The meal and company were each delightful. Well, now I have to pay the price of enjoying myself - if the storms live up to the forecast there will be little sleep!

It's been raining steadily for quite a while here, very nice indeed, has brought temperature down.

The rain we could have done with a few weeks ago - well, it's here now in a bun dance.

We got it instead. It's been wet and chilly here all day.

Floo there's lots of these little water droplet things falling from the sky over here in Essex they started dropping down here at about 1130 this morning?

Greetings from SW France (again).

It was quite cool over the weekend but Sunday was sunny and I had a nice lunch on the terrace with friends.

Today we are promised( ???) 35 degrees again. Shall be heading north for the Channel Islands at the weekend and then back to England. I have only caught glimpses of weather conditions there. Is Great Britain overrun with polar bears?

It is raining here and looks set in for a good while. No doubt instead of longing for the wet stuff we will be wishing it would cease! ::)

Raining quite a bit here, has been for quite a while & looks as though it will continue. It felt really good when I went to the car park at work and when I got out of the car at home, I wanted to stand still and get wet. Won't last of course but we can enjoy while we can. I'm jetting off tomorrow, back next Wednesday, late. Weather supposed to be mixed where I'm going but warm.

Ta. Storms are predicted there tomorrow which don't bother me, the rest of the time scattered showers but warm. I'll have a good time regardless of weather.
