Two days ago peak of 34 C.  Cooler than that yesterday (with a short shower and thunderstorm). Warm this morning (car thermometer said 23 C) with some fluffy cloud.

Overcast with occasional drizzle, no wind.

The weather here in Aquitaine has not been brilliant - we've no rain recently, but not much sun either. A cold wind, reduced the temperature during the week making carrying a sweater in the evening a wise move. But things are now looking up ...

In Worthing it was grey and miserable and damp for much of the day, but we are now being treated to a glorious sunset. Which is quite cheering.

Oh, you're back. I was beginning to think you'd left again.
Scattered cloud, intermittent sunshine, light breeze.
I have a pet termite. His name is Clint. Clint eats wood.

Ehhhhhhhh? I haven't been away. ::)

Cloudy, mild, a slight breeze.

Reading this makes me think of this poem.

After a hazy start here it really is lovely now.

Yes. Since July.  8)  I have  a graphical reord of the boiler'a performance on my Netatmo app since 20 July.

...  To be clear, however, I must also admit that the house was not in occupation for much of that time/

Storm seems to have gone down east coast
 No more thanna breeze here but one friend on east lost a chimney, and another lost power.

A friend in Nairn says it's blowing a hoolie up there, and a lot of trees down.

Burns called it 'craneuch cault'...He's right. Still, this is 'Saltire Sunday, the Sunday closest to St Andrews' day.....
Wish my kilt was longer, as the kirk can be pretty draughty.
Don't even think about asking.
