It will be of little consolation to you but it has been dark, windy, and wet down here on the South coast too.

Yet another bright, sunny, still, brass monkeys day. Forecast to get a lot warmer by Monday.

Today's weather is being controlled by the lights in my living room. When it get's too dark and I switch on the lights, it get's lighter and stops raining, and when I switch them off because the sun is shining, it gets dark and starts to pour.

It's still pretty wild - up at Balfaffray, which is quite elevated, doing the school run and it's blowing a hoolie right now.

Dull, damp though not actually raining, light breeze, cold. Winter is having a final fling - which is good news for my apple harvest, as a late (but not too late) cold spell means the blossom will be late, and therefore less likely to be (literally) nipped in the bud (where the expression comes from, of course) by a late frost. It's also an "on" year for my biennial-bearing trees, which is all but one of them.
All the same, I'd like it to warm up soon.

Lucky you. Grey skies, damp, cold. For days.

Another lovely day today though we had a couple of inches of snow yesterday evening which had some Indian families and students out in George Sq building snow men (small ones) when I passed through it at 9.30pm

Light cloud, hazy sunshine, little breeze, a bit chilly but a great improvement on the last few days.

Bright, breezy, warmish. I'm planning a trip to that London on Saturday; if it's like this, I won't complain.
