We had torrential rain earlier, from time to time it was so heavy it was like a waterfall.  :o

Rather sadly, I fear that some of the magnificence of the sunset in the posts I put up last night are due to this.

Looks like intended trio to Douro valley for the next couple of days off due to fire, and effects on transport.

Very overcast, heavy rain. My road, which has a slight gradient, has been converted into a river.

A beautiful autumn day today. Sun shining and a cool 13°C. Would have loved to have gone running today but I'm a bit bunged up. Had cold symptoms for over two weeks now.

Yes. It was. Initially it went as quick as it came, but I made the mistake of going back to a normal routine straightaway before I'd fully recovered. Own fault.

It feels very autumnal today, it is much cooler, quite windy and raining on and off.

I noticed. The web site is predicting wind speeds of 15,909mph across the country. Take cover!

The wind is beginning to get up but so far it's not been very weather bomblike.
