Snow in Worthing. This is most unusual.

Cold, we had a clear blue sky at the start of today, but it is now clouding up.

Those photos are interesting.

We have a hard frost this morning, it is cloudy, but no wind.

The weather warning neatly avoids Hemel Hempstead - we're going to miss all the fun.

Got an email overnight to say that the local Tesco supermarket won't open today, and I'd imagine other retail in the area will follow suit, and all public transport cancelled.

Moved the car into the under building car park, this morning, had to dodge the large bins  being blown across the road.

Good idea - starting to get a bit wild out there now, judging from the way the trees are getting blown about. We're staying in!

Though Hemel is outside the amber warning area, it's surrounded by it on three sides, so I thought the weather might be a bit playful, but we've got clear blue sky, sunshine, no breeze worth mentioning and mild temperature.
Later - Getting quite windy now, so maybe we are getting some effect from Eowyn.
