My family in Glasgow are of the opinion (bearing in mind the majority of my family live in Dunfermline) that Fife is for Scottish people that secretly want to be English, and Edinburgh is for the ones that have the accent to pull it off...
Getting back to the original post, I think the headline's grossly misleading. That he shouted and what he shouted aren't what he was convicted of, he was convicted of deliberately bypassing a security cordon and threatening behaviour - with that charge, the sentence seems appropriate.
It's not as though the Prime Minister - and other ministers - don't appear in public places where this sort of protest can be made.
