No justification for terror

Whilst I can understand his views to a degree, I find Netanyahu's comment somewhat ironic in view of the way in which the modern State of Israel came into being.

What are others' thoughts, of both Mr Netanytahu's and Mr Ban's comments?
Are your, or your friends'/relatives', garages, lofts or sheds full of unused DIY gear, sewing/knitting machines or fabric and haberdashery stuff?

I agree with both of them, to varying degrees.

Mr Netanyahu's comments that there is no excuse for terrorism is entirely correct, but stomach-churning given the state-sponsored terrorism his country actively employs with military incursions into Palestinian territory. That they army works for a state that the UN recognises doesn't change the tactic, doesn't make it any less an act of terrorism.

Ban Ki Moon's point is the more pertinent - Netanyahu's hypocrisy of decrying military action by Palestinian groups whilst continuing the ongoing land-grab of Palestinian territory is despicable. Putin grabs Crimea and western media is in uproar; Netanyahu does it for the fortieth or fiftieth time in last two decades and the wester media is silent whilst the western governments say 'Come on, Bippy, ease up a little'.
