King James Bible
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

God has a better way.

Hilarious! ;D

A fine performance by Andy Williams. Not a particularly complicated melody, but with a two octave range it's difficult to make it all sound pretty.

That's a bit strong Khatru.  I think it is a very pleasant and comforting quotation, for believers.

But if they have actually read the Bible it doesn't exactly depict the deity as anything but an evil b*stard!

Rubbish... it is because you have no respect for authority or understanding of the bible and God that only idiots call God evil or see him that way. Your Father the devil must be very proud of you. Had you had any understanding of the bible you would see you do as Satan wished you to. Following in Eve's footsteps and Adams like all mankind blame God for your own failings.

Now the truth shows you to be an evil one.

Dead right, I have absolutely NO respect for the evil deity, if it exists and is as depicted in that book! Certainly Satan could be no worse.

It may be a bit strong but it's certainly not as strong as scriptures that refer to unbelievers as fools fit only for eternal torture.

Ah, OK...so you believe that we non-believers are under Satan's control?

Here's a heads-up for you - that just happens to be your religion - it's certainly not mine.

Why is it that believers like you, people who accept faith, dogma and religion think it's an argument to use those words like "Satan is your father" against somebody else?

What if I called you a "stupid forum poster" simply because I considered that you didn't consider yourself a stupid forum poster?  Isn't that your approach here?

I'll tell you what - let's be sensible about this. What do you say I call you the religite who clings to faith and dogma. Ok?  Then you can insult me right back with the opposite; you know,  something that you actually disrespect.

You see what I'm getting at?

Call me a damned rational sceptic. Call me a filthy logician or reasonista.   Hey!  You can even call me a godless evidencist.

Come on, Sass - hit me where I really live!
