Let us say that a person is thinking of the poverty in the world ... the better his/her vagal nerve is operating the better the blood flow directed to the brain, and the better and more compassionate solutions they will come up with, rather than dismissing the problem at the earliest with a superficial solution.
We already expect that good operation of the brain relies on good health generally.
