This post give me the impression some here think ALL non-Christians are atheists ?!?!?
I'm not a Christian although I DO like going into churches as I DO feel there IS something there but a bit, shall we say, 'covered up' !?!??!

My religious leanings are more towards Hinduism, much misunderstood especially here on the Christian board. Some complain non Christians don't 'get it' but I very often feel the same about more than a few here as regards other faiths.
People say 'Oh I read this & that of different religions but it's all rubbish'. How many have actually cared enough to stop being lazy & find out more, especially when they'd make that very same remark about others here.
I did.

Hinduism is not rubbish, it is fascinating and beautiful and if it was completely without value there wouldn't be so many Hindus in the world.  I daresay I will be shouted down by Christians and called a ''universalist'', but I honestly believe we each find our own way with God's help and your leaning is towards Hinduism.

Quite what this has to do with atheists being jealous of homosexuals who have faith I don't know, but never mind  :D.  You're not an atheist anyway.

And Hinduism - unlike the Abrahamic religions - does not regard sex and sexuality as shameful and the occasion of sin.

I was never taught that sex and sexuality were shameful or the occasion of sin.  Obviously there are sexual sins or, for those who do not like the word 'sin', wrong doing.  Things that harm others, cruelty, faithlessness, anything lacking in love and care.  Hindus are generally more principled than most of us in that area.

Because atheists are treated in a shitty manner by, mostly, Christians.
You all do know that the Quran says ALL NON-Muslims are the Kuffar or ungrateful & in this way are less than ALL muslims in THEIR god's eyes. It's where we get the word kaffer meaning godless heathen ?!!??!

Btw NO religion is completely without value - even Islam !!!

Sadly, that's true in parts of America. Here in the good old UK of E,S,W and NI the boot is on the other foot.

Actually, the loss of Christian privilege to make for a level playing field seems fine by me.

We've had centuries of irrationality with the creation of Christian religious privilege through statutory enactments.  It's hardly objective and has no place in our society.
