Forum time v real time

Anyone else got a discrepancy between the time posts are registering here and the time on their phone or laptop or whatever? Apple appear to be two or three minutes behind the forum and it's disconcerting to read posts from a time that hasn't happened yet.

I noticed the other day it was a minute or so ahead of my watch which is radio controlled.

does it not boil down to what the time was on the operators watch when he/she set up the hosting server?

I often find the site a couple of minutes ahead of BBC, Arriva Trains Wales, and a host of other means of timing keeping.

I think there is a factor in the differing ways ordinary FM radios compared to digital radios process the signals and this also varies between differing ways digital receivers process the signals, then of course down the line off of your broadband service.

You've probably noticed a minor time lapsing between all of these services and then again the radio control signals one here in England, Rugby I think, another in Germany, my weather station clock is tuned to the German transmitter, I think it's getting the cats whisker tuned in to the right part of the piece of seaweed in my weather station could also be a part of the problem, I'll check with my psychiatrist, to see if he's got the time.

Sorry about that just sold the house and will be moving to a bungalow with a bloody great garden, just a little bit pleased with myself, thus the wandering off of the sensible path, yes, again, I know.

Cheers Shakes, the only downside is we'll need to spend a couple of thousand on fencing, the dog is an escape artist not so much to get away from us more the call of the wild, we have all sorts of wildlife here rabbits squirrels field mice, and various other representatives of the wildlife community.

The dog is a cross, bit posher than a mongrel, a Springer/Labrador cross and her main aim in life is to catch small wriggly wildlife no matter how many times she pulls off her dew claws or generally rips up her paws and legs. 

Other than the fence problem it's goody goody goody, can hardly wait.

Cheers Rose, the bedroom decoration as it is, well although Mrs i and I share a bedroom, I don't like bedrooms where I feel as though I should have put on a dress before entering the room.

The bedroom will be first place to get a coat of paint when I get there, on thinking about it it might be cheaper to buy a dress, I'll have to give that a bit more thought?

Sorry, it's the goody goody goody factor, I'm 74 at the end of this month Rose and I know I should have grown up by now.

Got a firm offer from a couple that haven't got anything to sell and the bungalow is vacant possession, the previous woman owner has her son dealing with the necessary for her.

Other than that lot, not that much to worry about, none of the decorations jump up to bite so we can move in without doing anything until we want to.

We have moved six times and the chain well what can I say, chains are really governed by luck.

Most people manage to get through it in the end, all I can offer is sympathy and to continue wishing you loads of luck with the whole process.
