I'm not convinced about theat latter sentiment, Floo.  Possibly 3 or 4 times more able than Trump, but neither of them have the clout to do anything to resolve many of the on-going problems in American society - the black on white hatred (and vice versa); the over-reliance on guns and the influence of the the NRA; the imbalance of wealth; Medicare, etc.

Floo, I think you take the SundayTimes:  there have been a couple of interesting articles in the Magazine recently, one an interview with Ivanka Trump and another with Susan Sarandon who speaks harshly of Hillary Clinton.  They were interesting, at least I thought so;  I was more interested in Ivanka than her father, and in Susan Sarandon as a person.

We haven't taken a newspaper for many years. I have no interest in those sort of interviews.

I understand what you mean about newspapers generally, we stopped having a daily one so long ago I've forgotten but I do quite like the Sunday Times.

Well, Trump is certainly riding high atm!

Wait!! no wait! He owns a large chunk of land here in Scotland, he could move all his nuclear arsenal from Italy and Germany and park it on his golf course, a new golfing hazard, instead of sand bunkers, silo bunkers, wonder what witty comment Peter Aliss would make of that. :o

Suddenly Ivanka Trump seems to have a huge fan following. Even Trump's son seems to have impressed. There is now talk of a Trump  dynasty rule!!!

As wrong as it is to normally wish anyone a swift demise, in Trump's case I am afraid that is what I would wish for if he became President!
