In the God Delusion Dawkins tackles "the problem" of apparent fine tuning of the constants by advocating multiverse theory and particularly that of Lee Smolin.
Since then of course Dr Smolin has abandoned allegiance to multiverse theories as being maths and not science.
A hint perhaps about the mutability of the eternal truths of new atheism?
