It also showed men are more confident about post-Brexit Britain with 62 per cent of males saying they think it will boost their future career, compared to 57per cent of women.

Engineers and people working in the technical service industries are the most positive about their prospects in the wake of the Brexit vote - 62 per cent of both of these companies have said the vote to leave could improve the success of the companies where they work.

I suppose it's good to be positive.  Let's face it, we have to make the best of things.  I had a card early this week from a dear friend, older than me (70s) who spent some time pre-referendum campaigning for Remain.
She is so unbelievably despondent, I could have cried when I read it.   She hasn't got over the shock.  Feeling like that isn't going to change anything.

(In any case, we are not 'out' yet!  While there's life, there's hope.)
Let us profit by what every day and hour teaches us

The Mrs Brown's Boys thing is positive - unless you were on the production team.

I'm afraid your car industry chief may be clutching at straws. These wonderful trade deals don't just magic into existence. It takes years of negotiation to put them in place. Apparently, the average length of time to negotiate a bipartisan trade deal is seven years. The British car industry hasn't got that long.

Another unpleasant consequence of BREXIT - perhaps less foreseen than some other issues:

Rose for every positive in this mess there are about a dozen negatives.

I love the Mary Poppins attitude but she is fictional. Magic doesn't exist.
Before we work on Artificial Intelligence shouldn't we address the problem of natural stupidity.

You have to be prepared to find the magic, Trent  :)

If there is an aspect of BREXIT that is less than catastrophic - it will take considerably more than a bit of confectionery to make us see it - perhaps some psychoactive substances would do the trick?

Full of nuts but with lots of flakey bits and a bitter aftertaste
