Benches that make adults feel like children

If you had the chance to site one of these giant benches - where would you put it?
Are your, or your friends'/relatives', garages, lofts or sheds full of unused DIY gear, sewing/knitting machines or fabric and haberdashery stuff?

Lists of what is needed and a search engine to find your nearest collector (scroll to bottom for latter) are here:  http://www.twam.uk/donate-tools

Wow!..... we have hyperlinks. Thank you, Jakswan, 'cos I believe they are a bit of a pain!

Hope, I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I like the benches. :(

In Vlad's back garden.
He could fit at least six of his straw men on it!  :D

I think they are gorgeous.  Could do with a step to get on, saves having to clamber up.  If I had a really huge garden with a secluded bit, it would be lovely to have one there, maybe under a big oak tree (& giant toadstools nearby).  Lovely!

There should be one in every public park. There is no reason why adults should always be expected to behave like adults.

When I saw the subject title, my first thought was that it would be about patronising magistrates.
Does Magna Carta mean nothing to you? Did she die in vain?

I have a photo of one of my daughters taken when she was a teenager sitting on a giant sized chair at some event we attended. I can't remember where that was though.

Far away!  Well out of sight of me.

Don't like them at all, too bright and garish, too big.

Being short, I have enough problems not being able to sit comfortably in many chairs /benches anyway, therefore having these isn't going to appeal.

Nothing worse than having the blood supply cut off because you can't put your feet to the ground, really uncomfortable. I get that now, without adding these monstrosities.

 >:(

I absolutely hate those tall bar stools too.

I get vertigo!  ::) >:(

These giant benches......could an antitheist ''comic'' deliver his /her act from one?

If so Seb.....you'd better get on before it wears off.

What does it mean though specifically when adressing myself?

Don't their existing accommodation do just that already?

Well, would you believe it!

I saw one of those big chairs today in the city centre, a deckchair, massive thing   :o

I probably wouldn't have noticed had I not read it on here.

You were the one talking about a pompous twat in the EU Parliament. Of course Nigel Farage comes to mind. His snout is still there in the trough even though he rejects it. You will never meet a more craven politician.

When I mention Brussels I mean the Commission and the technocrats and all those wasters.

Goal post moving again. And whether you meant to include Nigel Farage or not, it doesn't alter the fact that he is still there with his snout in the trough of the organisation that he supposedly hates.

He's a hypocritical Euro fat-cat of the worst kind.

Tall bar stools are difficult when you slide off, you have further to fall  ;).
The benches could be stone coloured, or beige - some are actually.  You could tuck your legs up so feet aren't swinging.

At my school there was a "Disgrace Bench";  picture a small girl sitting on one on her own but conspicuous as everyone passes her, going about their business.  My mental image of that is of someone quite tiny sitting on a big bench - so not much different really.

Yes he is. He has a job in the EU parliament. He draws an EU salary and EU expenses. He's the very definition of an EU fat cat.
