Hell, Fire and live coals/Brimstones maybe???
« on: October 09, 2016, 11:24:11 AM »
'My God' does not burn any of us after we die. That is a fallacy brought about by the RCC. Manmade doctrine.

A belief based on the teachings of Christ about Dives and Lazarus and of course the book of Revelation. Cast into the lake of fire.

Quote
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

I am not sure the fire in the bible is always the same as human and worldly fire.

Quote
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

In Isaiah...

Quote
6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Live coal touched his lips. The bible appears to see and proclaim fire as being relative in cleansing and if death is gone then is fire the cleansing the end of the death that scourged humanity?

The more I study the bible I feel that Gods way and understanding of things are different from that of mankind.

The Bible says a lot of daft things which aren't credible, and open to a myriad of interpretations like yours Sass!

I suppose it depends on whether one relies on translations from an original language or not, Floo.  After all, I've seen plenty of arguments that you have made that bear little or no resemblance to the context and or meaning of the Greek language used in the originals.  You have fallen into the same trap as Sass.
Are your, or your friends'/relatives', garages, lofts or sheds full of unused DIY gear, sewing/knitting machines or fabric and haberdashery stuff?

Which trap is that?  Is God a liar?  What did he say about the New Covenant?

Jeremiah 31:33-34

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
John 16:13 too.

When the Apostles received the Holy Spirit and they spoke. Every man who heard them heard them speak in their own language.

Today! the Lord is still speaking to people and teaching them. So you see it is a red herring and fallacy to believe that a person taught by God can fall into a trap. Do you not see you are in that trap and not those who know the word of God and his covenant and promises.

Hope, who teaches you everyday when in your professed walk with God?
