Lovely Leonard
« on: December 22, 2016, 12:19:02 PM »
At this time of year I find myself thinking of absent friends - has anyone heard from our Len recently? Be good to know that he's still enjoying a life of chilled amontillado and reveries of tight-trousered matadors.

On the Admin board there is a thread asking the same question, unfortunately no one has been able to answer that question so far. :(

Absolutely. I couldn't access R&E for over a year, and I miss Len's wit and wisdom v ery much indeed.

Last time I asked the same about Len, some months ago, he came back shortly after so let's hope that is what will happen this time.

Apparently he has a very big garden and spends a lot of time looking after it at different times of the year.

We all miss him.

Indeed we do.

What about Shaker? I heard he had some health problems.

Shaker is missed too, floo, as is Rhiannon.

Last heard, they both had some important things to sort out (i didn't ask what), and were giving the forum a miss for a while but would be back sine die.

It would be nice if both looked in -  Len making three - and saw this thread.

Happy Christmas, Chanukah, New Year, Yuletide,  to Len, Rhiannon and Shaker!

Last time I heard from Shaker (a month or so ago) he was fine, just taking a break and I think a new job was mentioned.

I usually hear from him at New year so will let you know.

Bon Jovi! Did somebody mention my name?

Yes, I am indeed taking a temporary break - it's been a busy year and especially so (ridiculously so) in the last third of it or so. Fit as a flea otherwise, though.

A very merry Christmas/Yule/whatever and a happy, healthy, peaceful and prosperous new year to everyone. In the words of General MacDougal, I'll be back ...

P.S. Also hope dear old Lenny is well and pottering around with his plants.

Hi Shakes - have a really good rest over the holiday period and a great Christmas.
Are your, or your friends'/relatives', garages, lofts or sheds full of unused DIY gear, sewing/knitting machines or fabric and haberdashery stuff?

Haste ye back here soon Shakes; despite all our good work there are too many people round here still busy being wrong about all manner of things  ;)

Ah yes - dear, wise Rhiannon. It would be nice if she looked in again.

I did, me ole china. very glad to hear that you are fit and well, and busily occupied. Can't think where I heard that you were ailing.
Pop in sometime to give us some of your clear thinking. You might be prompted to have a good swear too - this will no longer be met with the previously inevitable moans of a maiden aunt.

Just to say we've been trying to get in touch with Len, aided by information from members here and via some contacts in Spain, but to no avail as yet.

We will keep trying.

Aww..... thanks, Gordon. I wasn't sure what Sassy, meant in #18 when she said she was glad to hear Len was ok.

Well, I do hope he is ok.... a dear chap.
