At the time of you posting of your post, that I replied to, it was still gossip in the media. I haven't heard Nuttall say it is all a lie but two more local UKIP people in Liverpool have resigned over this following the press officer and so it seems that the issues at hand are gathering some validity.

That is what I understand to be the case. They were complicit in some manner and so fell on their swords. It is a local issue in Liverpool. If they resigned because of what is claimed to have happened and their disgust in it then we would be seeing this all over the country, but it is a Liverpool local issue and so confined to that local UKIP group.

Yet the spurious Ph.D claim was exposed prior to these resignations today so I don't see the relevance of these resignations in the your apparent about face this evening.
