Steve Hewlett

I was saddened to hear that Steve Hewlett has died. His frankness and openness in dealing with his terminal cancer is a lesson in courage to us all.

His last appearance on the Radio 4 PM programme was only a week ago when he spoke about his marriage which had taken place just a short time before the broadcast.
Does Magna Carta mean nothing to you? Did she die in vain?

I too was saddened by this. I was an avid listener of the media show until I changed jobs a couple of years ago.
I listened to him on the PM programme every Monday & sadly it was obvious he was losing his battle as he sounded so frail last week.

A genuine loss
