Cameras
« on: March 12, 2017, 07:31:03 AM »
Hi everyone,

I just received a What'sApp message with a video showing the different types of hidden cameras.....in clocks, flowers, sockets, pens, car keys...and many more items.   All these can record more than 8-12 hours of video with voice... and are remote controlled.   These devices are available in shops and are in regular use worldwide by the general public...and not just by secret agents.

This can be very dangerous  for people checking into hotels, discussing in restaurants...or even in ones own home with people visiting. There are now many cases of video clips getting loaded on the internet, people getting blackmailed and so on.

The positive side to this is that people would be more careful not to indulge in activity that they would be ashamed of.

We used to think that God is everywhere, now it seems the Devil is also everywhere...and watching gleefully!

Any views?

I wonder how they hide them in flowers?

'Watching us' is nothing new.... it's been going-on for years. We live in an evermore Orwellian world.

Hi SweatPea...its been a long time. Hope you are well.

Its amazing how small some of the cameras are. They can be as small as a ball pen point. And they are wireless.  They can easily be hidden among the petals in a flower vase and no on will notice.

And its not about the state watching us through the information in the computers. Its about private citizens and unscrupulous people using such devices to record private moments, conversations etc. and take advantage of this for their personal ends. Its a new kind of crime that is made increasing easy through the easy availability of such devices.

Cheers.

Hi Sriram, I'm well, thank-you.... hope all is well with you, too.

Yes, technology now is so advanced and sadly cannot always be used for the best.

"We used to think that God is everywhere"? We?

"now it seems the Devil is also everywhere...and watching gleefully"! At least you've included an "it seems", into that sentence.

You really believe that stuff, don't you Sriram?

ippy,

You should be able to recognize when I am talking serious spirituality and when I am using a metaphor. Otherwise it is very difficult to have a conversation!  :(

Most people have spiritual moments, why bring in the superstitious stuff when you refer to these occasions, I suppose you've been indoctrinated to do so; a shame.

No. It's a frequent question on here and not just from pedants like me. Is it another question about meaning that you are going to refuse to answer?/

I can't help it if you feel I haven't answered you or if you don't like the answers I decide to give.

However, I'll go with some of the O E D, for the mo, none of the unexplained things that go bomp in the middle of the night parts thereof.

My wife and I were on the road touring Europe some years back and as we crossed the Vosges mountains at dawn we saw a number of mountain tops sticking up through the clouds as though they were a group of islands and like so many beautiful things we have experienced neither of us could speak because o feeling close to tears on seeing such beauty, spiritual as we saw it.

If that's not a good enough explaination for you, tough, that's all you're getting.

Ye  know, ipps, I find that hugely unsatisfying as a definition but who cares, because I find it lovely as a description of the meaning to you.

Take care
